Description
We are seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiology for a locum tenens opportunity in Eureka, California. This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care in a Level 3 trauma setting, with an average pay of $95 per hour. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, seeing approximately 12 patients per shift using the Epic EMR system.
This position requires an active California license, DEA registration, and current ACLS and BLS certifications. The assignment starts September 1, 2026, and is ongoing. Credentialing takes 60-90 days. Overtime is paid at 1.2x the normal rate, and holiday pay is 1.5x for major holidays.
