Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how NurseRoam collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use our healthcare jobs marketplace, dashboards, contact forms, messages, alerts, and related services.
This original draft is written for NurseRoam operations and should be reviewed by counsel before production use.
Information you provide
We collect information you provide directly, such as name, email, phone, account role, password credentials, profile details, resumes, licenses, certifications, work history, availability, job preferences, applications, messages, employer profile details, job postings, billing-related details, support requests, and contact form submissions.
If you submit information about another person or an organization, you represent that you have authority to provide it and to let NurseRoam process it for the marketplace purpose.
Information collected automatically
We collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed, search queries, job interactions, referrer, UTM parameters, cookie identifiers, approximate location signals, logs, security events, and analytics events.
NurseRoam uses first-party analytics to understand marketplace demand, job performance, application funnels, and service reliability. We design analytics to focus on useful marketplace signals rather than unnecessary tracking.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from employers, staffing agencies, job feeds, public sources, service providers, payment processors, email providers, communications tools, verification tools, anti-abuse systems, and other users.
For job listings, some information may come from structured feeds or external source material. For candidate workflows, employers or agencies may provide notes, status changes, or communications related to hiring.
How we use information
We use information to operate NurseRoam, create and secure accounts, display job listings, support search, process applications, match candidates and employers, send alerts, enable messaging, provide employer tools, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand healthcare labor demand, improve listings and search, report marketplace trends, and show employers how their postings perform.
Recruiter contact and communications
When clinicians provide recruiter-contact consent or take marketplace actions that permit follow-up, NurseRoam may use contact information to support employer or agency outreach, applications, messaging, lead workflows, alerts, and service communications.
You can manage certain communications through account settings, unsubscribe links, or support. Some service, security, legal, and transactional messages may still be sent when needed to operate the service.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, support marketplace records, resolve disputes, enforce terms, comply with law, prevent fraud, and keep security logs.
Retention periods vary by information type. For example, support messages, application records, billing records, consent records, and abuse-prevention records may need to be kept after an account is closed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to appeal certain decisions or limit certain sharing.
To make a request, use the contact page and choose the privacy topic. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
California and state privacy notices
Some U.S. state privacy laws require additional disclosures about categories of information, purposes, sharing, and rights. NurseRoam does not intend to sell personal information for money.
If a state law applies to your request, we will process it according to that law. Use the contact page for privacy requests, corrections, deletion requests, access requests, or appeals.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for telling us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
Children
NurseRoam is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
If you believe a child provided personal information to NurseRoam, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
International users
NurseRoam is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
