Locum Critical Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with critical care experience for a locum tenens opportunity in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role is based in a specialized pediatric cardiac intensive care unit (CICU) where our team provides collaborative, round-the-clock monitoring before and after surgery. You will work alongside a dedicated team of physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality care to pediatric patients.

The position offers an average pay of $113 per hour and requires a minimum 6-month commitment. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days. Shifts may include on-call responsibilities, though minimum call is expected.

Qualifications include a Master's or Post Master's Degree, graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program with practice authority in Texas, and an active, unencumbered NP and RN license in Texas. Minimum 2-3 years of pediatric critical care experience is recommended. Required certifications include BLS, PALS, and ACLS. Acceptable certifications include FNP-BC, NNP-BC, CPNP-PC, or CPNP-AC.
