Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Metabolic Geneticist for a locum tenens opportunity in Richmond, Virginia. This academic hospital-based role involves clinic plus call coverage, one week per month. You will see 1-2 patients per day, ranging from newborns to end-of-life, and work alongside two other physicians and a PA. The schedule includes Monday all-day clinic, Tuesday half-day, Thursday all-day, with call on other days and nights, plus some telehealth coverage.
The position offers an average pay of $1,750 per day and requires a Virginia license (licensing assistance available), DEA, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification. Board certification in Metabolic/Obesity Medicine or Genetics with extensive metabolic experience is required. The credentialing timeframe is approximately 120 days. Join a supportive team with EPIC EMR at an 865-bed facility.
