Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for a locum tenens position in Beaumont, Texas. This role is part of an Advanced Women's Service Program with a dedicated OB Hospitalist model, offering a collaborative environment with private OB physicians. The hospital features a Level 3 NICU, dedicated Labor and Delivery suites, 24/7 Anesthesia coverage, and robust surgical services. With 19 private labor and delivery rooms and 34 mother-baby recovery rooms, you will manage approximately 2,000 annual deliveries.
Your responsibilities include OB triage and emergency management, labor management, vaginal and C-section deliveries, ED consults, surgical assists, and providing care for unassigned and emergent patients. You will also serve as backup call for CNMs who are surgical first assist trained. There are no clinic responsibilities, allowing you to focus on inpatient care. The EMR system is Epic.
Requirements include Board Certification in OB/GYN, an active Texas medical license, and an active Texas DEA. The position offers an average pay of $4,000 per day. Travel expenses including airfare, lodging, and car rental will be covered. The start date is September 30th.
