Description
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse for a per diem position with the Swedish Medical Center Float Pool in Edmonds, Washington. This role offers the opportunity to work with neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a dynamic float pool environment, with the majority of shifts at First Hill and occasional floating to Edmonds or Issaquah.
This is a night shift position (1900-0730, 12-hour shifts) with a weekly pay of $816. Per diem clinicians must commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per month. Orientation includes one virtual day and one unit-based shift, with virtual orientation held every other Monday.
Requirements include at least 2 years of PICU experience, an active Washington RN license, BLS and PALS certifications, and experience with 1:2 patient ratios. NRP, charge experience, and EPIC charting are preferred. Two recent references (one supervisory) covering the last year are required. COVID-19 vaccine is required unless an approved exemption is on file.
