Description
Join our team as a Per Diem Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a leading facility in Ventura, California. This night shift role offers a weekly pay of $798 and the opportunity to work in a dynamic pediatric environment. You will provide critical care to pediatric patients, collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
This position requires a minimum of 1.5 years of recent Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience, including previous experience caring for growing premature infants. You must hold an active California RN license, along with current BLS and PALS certifications. Familiarity with Cerner charting system is preferred. You will be expected to float between PEDS, NICU, and PICU units as needed.
Orientations are held biweekly on Tuesdays at VCMC, with two Cerner training days (Thursday and Friday) and a unit orientation shift scheduled individually. Scrubs must be solid color (no patterns).
