Per Diem Registered Nurse

Join our team as a Per Diem Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at a Providence facility in Milwaukie, Oregon. You'll provide high-quality care in a fast-paced ER setting, working with a dedicated team. This role is ideal for experienced ER nurses seeking flexibility with per diem scheduling.

This position offers a pay rate of $732 per week. Shifts are posted 12-48 hours in advance and are not pre-booked, so flexibility is key. Per diem clinicians must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; failure to meet this requirement for two consecutive months may result in cancellation. Orientation is held at the Providence Office Park Building near Portland Medical Center on select Mondays.

Requirements include at least 1.5 years of ER experience within the last 3 years, current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications (AHA required), EPIC experience, and two supervisor references covering one year of employment in a comparable setting. Charting is done via Epic, and medication administration uses Pyxis. A 3-month separation applies for those transitioning from staff to per diem or travel roles.
