Description
Join our team as a Per Diem Telemetry Registered Nurse in North Kansas City, Missouri. You'll work in a dynamic telemetry/stepdown unit providing cardiac monitoring and emergency response for patients with cardiovascular, endocrine, and other acute conditions. This role requires Level 3 trauma experience (Level 1 preferred) and proficiency in drips, neuro, ortho, and respiratory care.
This position offers night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (12 hours) with a competitive pay of $720 per week. You'll enjoy a supportive staffing ratio of 1:4-5 and free parking. Orientation includes modules and mandatory EKG testing with an 80% pass rate. Upcoming orientation dates are Dec 2, 9, and 30.
Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience, an active RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH (AHA). You must have Cerner charting experience and be willing to float to ICU or Med/Surg/Rehab as needed. Flu vaccine is required (exemptions rarely approved); COVID vaccine is not required. Scrub color is navy blue.
