Permanent Acute Care Float Registered Nurse

Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our beloved Float Pool team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across six diverse units, including Behavioral Health, 3West surgical, Pediatrics, 2South medical, the Women's Center for mother/baby couplet care, and the Intensive Care Unit. As a float nurse, you'll enjoy variety and the chance to build skills in multiple specialties while making connections throughout the hospital. This position is ideal for an independent learner who thrives in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

This is a full-time, night shift position working 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts. The pay ranges from $38.42 to $63.35 per hour based on experience and education, with an average of $51 per hour. Additional benefits include shift differentials, annual increases, paid time off, up to $7,500 relocation assistance, and 90 days of temporary housing. There is also a $15,000 to $20,000 incentive available. Requirements include a valid RN license and the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across multiple units. New graduates are not accepted for this role.
