Description
Join our team as an Administrative Coordinator in Attleboro, MA. This permanent, 24-hour evening shift position (3pm-11:30pm) requires alternating weekdays, one weekend per month, and holidays. You will be responsible for registering patients and updating information in the electronic medical record, performing various administrative tasks to ensure accurate patient demographic, financial, and mandated data, and providing patients and families with required regulatory documents.
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and prioritization skills, a professional telephone demeanor, and the ability to handle interactions in a fast-paced, emotionally charged clinical environment. Critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential for handling urgent situations per hospital policies. Strong oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency are required. Preferred qualifications include two years of computer experience, one to two years in an acute hospital setting, and knowledge of medical terminology. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. No license or certification is needed. Must be able to communicate effectively with all age groups and perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
