Permanent Cardiac Rehab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation program at St. Tammany Health System in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will coordinate patient care across Phases I, II, III, and Maintenance, focusing on cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal health, risk factor management, and functional capacity. You will work closely with physicians to manage admissions, exercise prescriptions, and progress evaluations.

This is a permanent staff position with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week. Compensation is based on experience. You will be responsible for monitoring patients during exercise and recognizing potential emergency situations.

Requirements include a current Louisiana RN license, at least one year of recent critical care or telemetry experience, and current BLS and ALS certifications from an ILCOR-approved course. Cardiac or pulmonary rehab experience is preferred. Strong communication and independent work skills are essential.
