Description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our OR team at St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA. As a key member of the surgical team, you will function as a scrub person, ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
This is a permanent, full-time position with 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00-19:00). The pay range is $23.00 to $31.00 per hour, and experienced surgical techs are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Call is required according to unit standards.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology, current BLS certification (ILCOR-accepted), and at least one year of experience preferred (acute care OR experience is a plus). Good communication and decision-making skills are essential.
