Description
We are seeking a permanent Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Victoria, Texas. This position is at a Level III trauma center with 22 ED beds and an annual volume of 28,000 visits. You will work alongside APPs in a supportive environment with specialty backup including General Surgery, Cardiology, and more. The EMR is MedHost.
Shifts are 12-hour blocks: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am for physicians, with APP hours from 10am-8pm or 4pm-2am. The role offers a stable schedule and the opportunity to grow with a busy department. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Requirements include ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certification; BC/EM is preferred but not required. The credentialing process takes approximately 30 days. Benefits include travel coverage for locums-to-perm candidates. If you are a Texas-licensed or IMLC-eligible physician, we encourage you to apply.
