Description
VEA Health is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join the Emergency Department at DeTar Hospital Navarro in Victoria, Texas. This 189-bed acute care hospital features a 22-bed ED and is a Level III Trauma Center, offering trauma capabilities and strong multi-specialty support in a collaborative environment.
The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts (days or nights) totaling 120 hours per month. Housing assistance may be available based on candidate location. The position offers a supportive and collegial physician team.
Qualifications include MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred), prior post-residency ED experience preferred, current ACLS and PALS certifications, and 12 months of Emergency Medicine case logs.
