Description
VEA Health is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join the emergency department at Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville, Texas. This community-based practice offers a collaborative team environment with supportive leadership and opportunities for long-term career growth, including the potential to advance into a Medical Director role.
The position involves working at a 44-bed acute care hospital with a 10-bed Emergency Department designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. The full-time schedule consists of 120 hours per month, with 12-hour shifts covering both day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) hours.
Qualifications include ABEM certification (preferred), several years of post-residency Emergency Department experience (preferred), and 12 months of Emergency Medicine case logs. ATLS is not required for ABEM-certified physicians. This is a physician-owned and operated practice that values accessible leadership and a supportive care team.
