Description

We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Pelham, Alabama. In this role, you will provide pain management and symptom control for terminally ill patients, following the plan of care established by the interdisciplinary team, attending physician, and Hospice Medical Director. The primary territory is Jefferson County, with additional support needed in Shelby, Chilton, Tuscaloosa, and Bibb counties.

As a Hospice RN, you will assess patient and family needs during home visits, document findings and interventions, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and other providers. You will also supervise Hospice Aides and LPNs, participate in on-call rotation for after-hours care, and ensure compliance with Medicare, Joint Commission, and agency standards. This is a full-time staff position with an average pay of $36 per hour.

Qualifications include a current Alabama RN license, at least one year of medical/surgical experience (hospice or home health preferred), and valid CPR and driver's license.
