Permanent Hospice Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Sheffield, Alabama, covering Colbert, Lauderdale, Franklin, Marion, and Lawrence counties. In this role, you will provide compassionate pain management and symptom control for terminally ill patients, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, attending physician, and Medical Director.

This is a full-time, staff position with a Monday through Friday schedule and an on-call rotation. You will earn an average of $36 per hour. Your responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, documenting interventions, and supervising Hospice Aides and LPNs to ensure compliance with the plan of care.

Requirements include an active RN license in Alabama and current CPR certification. Preferred qualifications include Medicare Skilled Nursing experience, basic understanding of OASIS, and at least one year of RN experience in a hospice setting.
