Description
Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife Hospitalist for Labor and Delivery and PET OB/GYN coverage in New Brunswick, New Jersey. In this role, you will function independently while collaborating with the attending physician and interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive midwifery services. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients, working on varying shifts within the Labor and Delivery and PET units.
This position offers 10- and 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights) with no call. The average annual pay is $167,055, with competitive base rates determined by experience, internal equity, and market data. Additional compensation may include clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
Requirements include graduation from an ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery program, a master's or doctoral degree, current CDS and DEA, active certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board, and New Jersey licensure as a CNM. You must also have BLS, ACLS, and NRP I certification (NRP II obtained during orientation). STABLE certification is preferred.
