Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Froedtert South in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In this role, you will work under the direction of the clinic supervisor, preparing patients for their appointments and assisting providers with the delivery of care. Your responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting in the electronic health record, performing basic treatments and procedures, and administering medications as ordered. You will also provide patient education and ensure a smooth patient flow to maximize treatment time.
This is a full-time, day shift position with 80 hours per pay period. The pay range is $19.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience, with an average of $24/hr. You will be working at the Somers Phy Clin-Sheplers location, part of the Froedtert South network.
Requirements include a high school diploma (Medical Assistant program preferred), current BLS certification from AHA (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and knowledge of essential medical assistant duties.
