Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Family Practice team in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Under the direction of the clinic supervisor, you will be responsible for receiving patients, preparing them for provider visits, and assisting with procedures as needed. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth patient flow and ensuring that every patient receives compassionate, efficient care.
This is a full-time, day shift position with a pay range of $19.00 to $28.00 per hour, averaging around $24/hr based on experience. You will work 80 hours per pay period in a supportive clinic environment. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting in the electronic health record, administering medications, and providing patient education.
Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred, and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
