Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Lab Technician to join our team at St. Tammany Health System in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will perform a variety of clinical laboratory procedures, including receiving and preparing specimens, conducting moderate to high complexity tests, and ensuring quality control. You'll work under general supervision, exercising independent judgment while maintaining patient confidentiality.
This is a permanent, full-time position on the night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Compensation is based on experience, offering a competitive pay rate. The role requires a Bachelor of Science degree and a current Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist license. National certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP preferred) is also required.
