Description
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to join our team at St. Tammany Health System in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures, functioning as a scrub assistant or monitor tech. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to promote excellence in cardiovascular care, handling procedures such as diagnostic and interventional cardiac, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular, and interventional radiology.
This is a permanent staff position with a shift of 3x12 hours from 07:00 to 19:00. The pay ranges from $30 to $45 per hour based on experience. You will be part of an on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time to ensure 24-hour cath lab availability.
Qualifications include six months of cath lab experience or one year of invasive radiology experience (two years of radiology tech experience may be considered in some cases). You must hold Louisiana State Radiology Licensure or CCI-RCIS, and current BLS certification from an ILCOR-approved course. Flexibility with hours and the ability to take on-call are required.
