Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Float Pool in Pasadena, California. In this role, you will coordinate patient care across the health care continuum, utilizing critical thinking and the nursing process to meet identified needs. You will supervise patient care management, including discharge planning, resource identification, and care delivery, while advocating for patients and evaluating outcomes.
This permanent position offers a pay range of $54.10 to $83.85 per hour, with an average of $69/hr. Evening shifts are available, and the role may require flexibility in hours. You will work in a supportive environment with opportunities for differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonuses.
Requirements include a BSN (ADN considered if enrolled in a BSN program with completion within 2 years), a current California RN license, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications. At least one year of acute care experience is required, with PACU and trauma experience preferred. Basic computer skills and successful completion of a dysrhythmia course within 21 days are also needed.
