Permanent Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse

Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Float Pool. In this role, you will provide patient-centered care across multiple med-surg units, ensuring accurate communication, competent assessment, and compassionate support for patients and families. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and float to areas of critical need, maintaining skills in diverse clinical settings.

This full-time position offers day shifts with 36 scheduled weekly hours. While pay is not disclosed, external applicants are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. You'll enjoy a supportive environment that values professional growth and work-life balance.

Requirements include an active Iowa or compact RN license and BLS certification (AHA). ACLS is required if cross-trained to certain critical care areas. A BSN is preferred, and acute care experience is a plus. You must also complete mandatory reporter training.
