Permanent Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse

Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Float Pool. In this role, you will provide patient-centered care across multiple med-surg units, ensuring accurate communication, competent assessment, and critical thinking to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You'll float outside core units during critical staffing needs, maintaining skills and competencies annually.

This is a weekend option position with 24 scheduled hours per week. While pay is not disclosed, external applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $9,000. You'll work in a supportive environment that values professional growth and collaboration.

Requirements include an active Iowa or compact RN license, BLS certification, and completion of Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse & Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training.
