Description
Join St. Tammany Health System as a Permanent Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Covington, LA. In this role, you will coordinate clinical activities for Medical/Surgical patients, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You'll supervise LPNs and nursing assistants while working within the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
This position offers night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week. Compensation is based on experience. Requirements include a current Louisiana RN license, BLS certification from an ILCOR-approved course, and excellent computer skills. ALS and basic EKG are encouraged.
