Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit at St. Tammany Health System in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will coordinate clinical activities for medical/surgical patients, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will also supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants, and Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
This is a permanent staff position with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The pay ranges from $31 to $45 per hour based on experience. You must be able to work holidays and weekends as required.
Requirements include a current Louisiana RN license, BLS certification from an ILCOR-provided course, and excellent computer skills. ALS and basic EKG certification are encouraged. New graduates are welcome to apply.
