Description
Join Northern Arizona Healthcare as a Permanent MICU Registered Nurse in Flagstaff, AZ. In this Charge RN role, you will oversee patient care activities during your shift, acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and staff. You'll ensure appropriate staffing levels, assign patient care teams, and serve as a resource for the unit. This position offers an average pay of $54 per hour.
Your responsibilities include addressing patient and family concerns, documenting incidents, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth patient throughput. You'll also provide coaching and development to nursing staff, participate in creating a learning environment, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements include an active Arizona RN license, BLS, ACLS, ATCN or TNCC within 18 months, and NIHSS within 30 days. A BSN is required within 6 years of hire, and at least one year of RN experience is preferred. CCRN certification is also preferred.
