Description
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Cottage Children's Medical Center in Santa Barbara, California. This Level III, 22-bed unit serves as a regional referral center for infants and children across the tri-county area, providing critical care for conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress, meconium aspiration, and surgical needs. The NICU team uses a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach, valuing family involvement in patient care.
This is a permanent staff position offering an average pay of $74 per hour, with a sign-on bonus eligible. Shifts are not specified, but the role involves full-time commitment to a dynamic, high-acuity environment. You will work alongside a dedicated RN/RCP transport team and collaborate with specialists to deliver top-tier neonatal care.
Qualifications include a current California RN license, BLS and NRP certifications, and at least one year of experience in a Level II or III NICU. A BSN is preferred.
