Permanent Operating Room Registered Nurse

Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Operating Room, specializing in the ENT/Plastics team. Our OR features 15 state-of-the-art suites covering orthopedics, neuro, general, ENT/plastics, open heart, and more. You'll join a close-knit specialty team that values integrity, compassion, and excellence. This role offers variety and continuous learning in a supportive environment.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a day shift schedule (0700-1530). You'll take call every 7th weekend and rotating holidays, with on-call pay of $6 per hour. While the pay is not disclosed, the role includes a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 and comprehensive benefits.

We welcome both experienced nurses and new graduates. You'll receive a hands-on orientation and mentorship program with ongoing opportunities for professional growth. Requirements include an active Iowa RN license (or compact state) and BLS certification. ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire. OR experience is preferred but not required.
