Description
We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Tammany Health System in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and directing the care of every patient undergoing operative and invasive procedures, supervising surgical techs, schedulers, and OR assistants. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient surgical experiences.
This is a permanent position with a 3x12-hour shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00. Pay ranges from $31 to $45 per hour based on experience. You must be flexible to work varying shifts and take call according to unit standards.
Requirements include graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing school, a current Louisiana RN license, and current BLS, PALS, and ALS certifications from an ILCOR-provided course. One year of OR experience and CNOR certification are preferred. We offer a supportive environment in a scenic community with excellent amenities.
