Description
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for our inpatient acute care team at New Mexico's only Level 1 trauma center and premier teaching hospital. In this role, you will rotate between adult care units with opportunities to train on specialty teams including ICUs, pediatric units, splint team, and burn team. You'll collaborate with skilled PTs, OTs, nurses, and medical staff, with chances to precept students. Experience preferred but new grads are welcome with a robust training program.
This full-time position offers rotating shifts with shift differentials: $17 weekday nights, $26 weekend nights, and $15 weekend days. The pay averages $51/hr, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. Some weekend and holiday work is required.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, NM Occupational Therapist license, and BLS certification within 30 days. Bilingual skills in Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo are a plus. Physical demands are heavy, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
