Permanent Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Urology outpatient clinic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this permanent staff role, you will support physicians and mid-level providers by facilitating patient care through in-person visits, telephone interactions, and electronic communications. Your responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, taking vitals, administering injections, collecting specimens, performing phlebotomy, and providing patient education. You will also manage phone calls regarding test results, process medication requests, and assist with diagnostic procedures such as EKGs and nebulizer treatments.

This position offers variable/rotating shifts, and the pay rate is hourly (not disclosed). To qualify, you need a current Iowa RN license and BLS certification. One year of medical office experience is preferred. You must also complete Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training prior to start.
