Permanent PACU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Northern Arizona Healthcare in Flagstaff, AZ. In this permanent staff position, you will coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, including direct care, education, and discharge planning. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. Your role is vital in ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

This full-time role offers an average pay of $47 per hour. You will work in a dynamic PACU setting, caring for patients recovering from anesthesia. The schedule may include shifts as needed to cover unit operations. As a PACU nurse, you will maintain aseptic techniques, monitor vital signs, manage pain, and respond to changes in patient condition promptly.

Requirements include an active Arizona RN license or compact license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 90 days). A BSN is required within 6 years of hire. CPAN certification is preferred.
