Description
Elliot Orthopedics, a department of Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, trauma care, and joint replacement surgery, working as part of an integrated healthcare team to help patients 'Live Better.'
This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:15 am to 4:45 pm. Pay is not disclosed. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be responsible for all facets of front desk operations, including greeting and registering patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, entering patient charges and demographics, retrieving and updating medical records, and collecting fees.
Key responsibilities include verifying insurance and address information, scheduling referral appointments, completing prior authorizations, and maintaining provider schedules. You will also assist in developing systems to support effective patient registration and make recommendations to improve efficiency.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous healthcare clerical experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Office is required.
