Description
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Director to oversee pharmacy programs and operations at our Lomas Campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this leadership role, you will manage staff, develop clinical programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate drug distribution and purchasing. You will also prepare educational programs for medical and pharmacy staff and manage investigational drug projects.
This is a full-time position with day shifts, offering a competitive pay range of $73.58 to $106.10 per hour. Relocation assistance is available. The role involves supervising employees, conducting performance appraisals, and fostering team growth. You will also be responsible for formulary management, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee activities, and publishing a newsletter.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy and hold a current Pharmacist License in New Mexico. A minimum of five years of directly related experience is required, along with CPR certification (BLS) within 30 days. A Doctorate or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Business, or Healthcare is preferred. Advanced certifications like ACLS or PALS are a plus.
