Description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Director to lead and manage pharmacy programs and operations in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This full-time, day-shift role oversees drug distribution, clinical programs, and staff development, ensuring high-quality patient care across neonate to geriatric populations. The position offers a competitive pay range of $73.58 to $94.51 per hour, with relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff, managing budgets and drug bids, coordinating investigational drug projects, and developing clinical pharmacy programs such as Medication Usage Evaluation. You will also prepare reports, publish a Pharmacy and Therapeutics newsletter, and present educational programs to medical and pharmacy staff.

Qualifications require a graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy, a New Mexico Pharmacist license, and 5 years of directly related experience. BLS certification is needed within 30 days. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate or Master's degree, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Physical demands involve medium work with occasional lifting of 20-50 pounds.
