Description
Northern Arizona Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team in Cottonwood, AZ. In this role, you will work in a fully computerized 24-hour pharmacy department, rotating through central dispensing and decentralized clinical areas including medical-surgical, critical care, behavioral health, pediatrics, and more. You'll be an active member of the patient care team, ensuring optimal, safe, and cost-effective medication therapy.
This is a staff/permanent position with an average pay of $73 per hour. No call is required. You will be responsible for clinical services such as pharmacokinetic dosing, TPN management, antimicrobial stewardship, anticoagulation monitoring, and direct patient education. You'll also participate in code arrest response, quality improvement projects, and train new staff.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Doctorate preferred), an active Arizona State Board of Pharmacy license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS required for Emergency and Pediatrics). At least 3 months to 1 year of experience is preferred. Join us in providing exceptional care to patients from neonatal to geriatric age groups.
