Description
This permanent inpatient pharmacist position is based at the Lomas Campus in Albuquerque, NM, with a primary focus on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will also be cross-trained in other care areas, ensuring a diverse and rewarding clinical experience. The role offers a rotating shift schedule with generous differentials: 17 weekday nights, 26 weekend nights, and 15 weekend day shifts. The pay averages $73 per hour, with a range of $63.47 to $82.51 based on experience. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities include consulting with healthcare professionals, compounding and dispensing medications, performing clinical monitoring (e.g., TPN, renal dosing, anticoagulation), and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Requirements include a valid pharmacist license and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
