Permanent Pharmacist Inpatient

We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at MDC in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this PRN role, you will work rotating shifts and play a key part in ensuring safe and effective medication use across inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory settings. Your expertise will directly impact patient care, from compounding and dispensing medications to collaborating with healthcare professionals on drug therapy optimization.

This position offers an average pay of $73 per hour, with a range of $63.47 to $82.51, plus an additional $6.00 per hour safety incentive pay. You'll also receive shift differentials for weekday nights, weekend nights, and weekend day shifts. The schedule is PRN (0.05 FTE), providing flexibility while you contribute to a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapies, and participating in clinical programs such as renal dosing and IV to PO conversions. You'll also educate patients and healthcare staff, maintain inventory of controlled substances, and support quality improvement initiatives.
