Permanent Pharmacist Inpatient

Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is seeking dedicated Clinical Pharmacists to join our acute care and transition teams. In this role, you will work in patient care areas and rotate through the central inpatient pharmacy, collaborating with physicians and nurses on bedside rounds, medication dosing, antibiotic de-escalation, and precepting students. Specialty areas include critical care cardiology, anticoagulation, general medicine, and hospice care.

This is a full-time, permanent position with rotating shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. External applicants can earn up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus, plus a $5,000 relocation bonus if relocating more than 75 miles. Pay is salary-based.

Requirements include a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, current Iowa pharmacist license (or eligibility), and BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
