Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician I for our Outpatient Pharmacy at the University Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will perform a variety of technical duties under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, including filling prescriptions, entering patient information, adjudicating insurance claims, and maintaining inventory. You'll work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely medications.
This is a full-time, rotating shift position with an average pay of $21 per hour (range $16.54-$24.79). Shift differentials are available for weekday nights, weekend nights, and weekend days. A sign-on bonus is also offered. You'll gain experience with pharmacy management systems and automated dispensing equipment.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT), and registration with the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy.
