Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in Attleboro, MA. In this permanent role, you will collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques, instruct patients on urine and body fluid collection, and process specimens accurately. You will also perform lab testing after completing documented training under the guidance of a qualified instructor.
This position offers a stable schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a competitive pay rate averaging $25 per hour. You will work under the direction of the Laboratory Coordinator, Practice Manager, or site Medical Director, ensuring high-quality specimen collection and patient care.
Requirements include completion of an accredited phlebotomy training course and a phlebotomy certificate. You must demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and capillary collection, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and knowledge of universal precautions. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a similar setting.
