Description
We are seeking a skilled Permanent Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining blood samples with a less than 10% unobtainable specimen rate, performing venipuncture, heel sticks, and finger sticks with minimal patient trauma. You will also complete daily tasks efficiently, prioritize stat and routine draws, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
This is a staff/permanent position offering a competitive pay rate of $21 per hour. Shifts are not specified, but you will be expected to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, observe universal precautions, and use safety equipment. You will also participate in lab Performance Improvement projects and maintain corporate compliance.
Requirements include previous laboratory experience preferred, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification preferred, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
