Description
We are seeking a Recreational Therapist to join our team in Baltimore, MD. In this role, you will assist in providing a continuum of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcome-based leisure activities designed to meet the physical, cultural, spiritual, social, cognitive/intellectual, emotional, and creative needs and interests of assigned residents.
This is a staff/permanent position with an average pay of $19 per hour. The schedule is typically daytime hours, Monday through Friday. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for residents through therapeutic recreation.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of experience, and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and ADL/MDS applications. You must also have American Heart Association CPR Certification and First Aid. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to follow verbal instructions.
