Permanent Registered Nurse

Join Sierra View Medical Center as a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Room. In this full-time night shift role (6:45pm-7:15am), you will lead a team, coordinate patient care, and ensure high-quality outcomes for a diverse patient population. You'll serve as a resource and mentor, making assignments based on Benner's Novice to Expert framework, and collaborate with leadership to manage census and staffing.

This position offers an average pay of $59 per hour and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with 3+ years of acute care experience. You'll work holidays, weekends, and on-call as needed, and participate in emergency response. The role requires a current California RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certification (obtainable within one year).

Ideal candidates have at least two years of unit-specific clinical experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to calculate medication dosages.
