Description
Join St. Tammany Health System as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Room transitional care program in Covington, Louisiana. You will play a vital role in reducing hospital readmissions by coordinating care for post-discharge patients, assessing needs, and providing compassionate nursing care within the framework of the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act.
This permanent position offers a schedule of 8am to 4:30pm with every other or every third weekend rotation. While the pay is not specified, you'll work in a supportive environment focused on patient outcomes. You must have a current RN license in Louisiana, BLS certification, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing school and three years of acute clinical experience. A BSN and experience in critical care, emergency care, or home health are preferred.
