Permanent Rehab Aide

We are seeking a dedicated Rehab Aide to join our rehabilitation team in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. In this role, you will assist in preparing patient treatments and handling clerical tasks for the department. You will transport patients to and from the Rehabilitation department as needed and perform tasks outlined by the Director, Therapists, or Assistants. This is a permanent staff position with an average pay of $20 per hour.

Your responsibilities will include scheduling and rescheduling patient treatments and evaluations, instructing and assisting new employees and agency staff with paperwork and billing, and completing assigned performance improvement duties. You will also assist therapy staff with patient treatments on an as-needed basis, complete equipment cleaning and maintenance, and keep logs up to date. Additionally, you will monitor modality temperatures, maintain modality mediums, and correctly maintain client files and records.

To be successful, you should have a C.N.A. or M.A. certification or other education in a rehabilitation-related field, along with previous clerical and/or rehab aide experience. At least one year of experience in a clerical or administrative role is required.
