Permanent Rehab Registered Nurse

Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU). As a Rehab RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or acute pain. You'll work closely with physicians, techs, and fellow nurses to educate patients and families, ensuring a confident transition home. This role is open to both experienced nurses and new graduates, with a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth across multiple specialties.

This position offers part-time or full-time evening/night shifts from 1900 to 0730, working three 12-hour shifts per week with weekends free and minimal holiday rotation. Pay is not disclosed, but a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available. Benefit eligibility is included for both part-time and full-time roles.

Requirements include a current Iowa or compact RN license, BLS certification, and completion of Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training. A BSN is preferred, and one year of inpatient rehab experience is preferred but not required.
